Shipping and Returns
Our nationwide delivery service is competitively priced, fast and reliable and we can arrange an export service on request. All deliveries are chargeable and are based on the weight of your order.
Once an order has been placed goods can normally be dispatched within 3 working days. A specific delivery date will be arranged to suit you. Most deliveries are between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. Most orders are packed in either wooden crates or pallets. They will be delivered on a large lorry so it is important that any restricted access details are advised prior to your delivery. The pallets will be placed, at the driver’s discretion, to the nearest safest point to the property; this may be on the drive or curb-side. The delivery driver cannot help handle the goods, so it is essential for you to arrange for a responsible individual to be present. All orders must be examined on delivery and any shortages, damages or other discrepancies must be noted on the delivery note and reported within the specified time period (see Terms and Conditions).
Care needs to be taken when unpacking all stone tiles as spacers may need to be removed from the packaging before the tiles are lifted out. Tiles should always be stacked and stored vertically (on edge) but not on a hard surface as this causes unnecessary edge chipping. Natural stone is fragile and we ask that any tiles which appear broken should be photographed prior to removal from the pallets.
Collections can be made from our Leeds warehouse with prior arrangement. Please ensure that a suitable vehicle is used whereby goods can be mechanically loaded. Collected goods are transported at the individual’s own risk, there may be a charge made for collections.
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with the goods supplied, they can be returned to the TD premises within 7 days of purchase and the goods will be replaced, in full, on confirmation that the goods are in the same condition as delivered and in the original packing with no damage whatsoever. TD can arrange collection of the goods for a normal delivery / collection charge, which should be confirmed prior to requesting collection. All goods should be photographed prior to loading and this is your evidence that the goods are in 100% perfect condition prior to leaving your collection point. Any damage in transit will be the responsibility of the transport company and not TD. Any claim will be between you and them and not TD.
Without exception, no returns will be accepted after 7 days. Shortages, damages and incorrect deliveries must be notified to TD within 24 hours of receipt of goods and, wherever possible, will be rectified within a further 7 working days subject to availability. Photographic evidence may be required along with a signed POD stating any damage or breakage. A customer adviser is on call Monday to Friday between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm on 0113 265 1093
Please note: All our descriptions and images (in print and on the website) and the samples of our Goods are only an approximate representation of the Goods due to its natural geological variations.
You acknowledge that the Goods are natural and geological variations will occur in terms of colour, markings, texture, size and between consignments, which are beyond our control. We advise you to view as much of the Goods as possible before entering into this Agreement.
All Natural Stone tiles are porous to some degree and should be sealed with the relevant sealer. Some tiles may need to be dried out prior to fitting. Stone may easily be scratched and/or be subject to natural pitting/chipping.
Where payment is made by a credit/debit card, any refund will be to the same account.
