TileTech Polished Surface Tile Sealer

TileTech Polished Surface Tile Sealer is a colourless impregnating tile sealer which protects against water, oil, grease, and dirt, and provides a completely natural finish in wall and floor surfaces. It is also suitable for use on worktops, and fireplaces, and may be used indoors and outdoors.

TileTech Polished Surface Tile Sealer is exceptionally easy to apply, and is recommended for use on polished marble, porcelain, granite, limestone, and travertine.

Directions for use

The surface to be treated must be completely clean, dry, and free from contamination e.g. old sealer. If necessary, first clean the area with TileTech Heavy Duty Grime Remover and allow to dry thoroughly. Apply TileTech Polished Surface Tile Sealer thinly and uniformly with a cloth, brush, or sponge. Allow to penetrate for approximately 45 minutes. Buff well with a clean, dry cloth, and work any excess sealer into the surface. Leave to dry for 4 hours before applying a second coat using the method described above.

On more absorbent surfaces, further coats may be applied. It is important to remember to remove any surface excess and to buff between each coat. The aim is to completely fill the substrate with TileTech Polished Surface Tile Sealer without over applying it or allowing any excess to oxidise on the surface.

Coverage

Approximately 1 litre for 10m2 with 2-3 coats.

Attention

Do not apply in temperatures exceeding 25°C.

To prevent the risk of premature drying, beware of applying this product to floors with underfloor heating.

If unsure of correct application methods, test the product on an inconspicuous area, prior to general application.

Do not use cement and/or grout stain removers on polished surfaces.
